Established in 1993, in United Arab Emirates, our founder, Engineer Arun Chikermane, set us on a path that would redefine the region, protect capital assets, and improve efficiencies. His vision for a reliable and safe network still lives in our core values and is evident in every technology and service we offer to our clients. Safety first is our primary motivation.
This 10 year span would define our growth for the next decade to come. We introduced concepts like Online DGA monitoring for transformers, PD monitoring, Thermal scanning, as a first to the region. Our initial successes came from our great supporters like DEWA and DUBAL, ADWEA, SEC, ARAMCO, EWA, & OETC, which propelled us further in our journey.
After almost 12 years of dedicated effort we had created a loyal following of believers and champions in the concept of monitoring. This industry wide acceptance allowed us to outfit almost 4,000 + transformers, generators, cables, switchgear and other assets with online DGA monitors and other technologies to predict failures and save our clients hundreds of thousands of dollars in costly unforeseen maintenance and repairs.
With the new AVACO R&D division based on accumulated knowledge and direct client contact, gave us a keen insight into what is needed at the site level. Our efforts were realized when we launched DryTrans, our online moisture dry-out system for transformers. We are not stopping as there are other technologies in development that will push us into the next 10 years.
